It's a Mystery by JeannieHarmon It's a Mystery by JeannieHarmon
This is probably my favorite thing I've done this semester in any of my classes. It's inspired by pulp art, and while probably not the most original idea for a painting, I'm just insanely happy with how this came out. I tried to use bright primary colors as my main color scheme, and I think it came out pretty well. Was kind of indecisive on whether I liked the one bent blind, but I think it gives it a little more character.

This is also one of the few acrylic paintings I've done and actually enjoyed doing. I think it's because I gessoed a piece of canvas cloth onto a piece of plywood, rather than using a canvas on a frame. Less bouncy and annoying that way.
